1. Introduction
Welcome to Knactics, "a knack for tactics." These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Knactics iOS and iPadOS app, website, cloud services, and related productivity features, collectively the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. The Service
Knactics is a native iPhone and iPad application that provides chat, voice, document, spreadsheet, presentation, research, mini-app, connector, and device-integration features supported by network-based AI and synchronization services. Knactics is provided as app and service access. This agreement is not an intellectual property license or royalty arrangement. Individual paid subscriptions and lifetime access are offered through Apple In-App Purchase in the Knactics iOS and iPadOS app.
3. Intellectual Property and Access Rights
You receive only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Service for internal or personal knowledge work. No source code is delivered, licensed, or otherwise made available to you under any circumstances. You are granted no rights to copy, resell, sublicense, publicly distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, or create derivative works of the Knactics software, application, or platform. Knactics exclusively retains all right, title, and interest in and to the software, platform, user interfaces, workflows, AI models, system prompts, agents, documentation, and all related intellectual property.
4. No Professional Advice
Knactics is a productivity and drafting tool. Outputs generated by the Service are AI-generated drafts and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. Outputs are not legal advice, financial advice, investment advice, medical advice, tax advice, insurance advice, or professional services of any kind. Knactics does not provide professional services and is not a substitute for a licensed attorney, accountant, certified public accountant, financial advisor, investment adviser, insurance agent, medical professional, or any other licensed professional. You are solely responsible for independently reviewing, verifying, and approving all outputs before use, particularly in legal, financial, medical, tax, insurance, compliance, underwriting, or other regulated contexts. Your use of any outputs is at your own risk.
5. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly notify us of any unauthorized use or security breach.
6. Customer Content and AI Outputs
You retain all ownership rights to the files, prompts, text, and data you submit to the Service. You grant Knactics the limited rights strictly necessary to host, process, transmit, and display that content to provide the Service. After you give permission in the app, Customer Content may be processed by DeepSeek and, when needed for fallback AI requests, cloud voice transcription, or spoken responses, OpenRouter. You may withdraw that permission in Settings. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you own the outputs and artifacts generated by the AI based on your Customer Content. AI outputs are generated by probabilistic models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or not reflective of recent events or information. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying outputs before relying on them, particularly for high-impact decisions.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to violate any applicable law, infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others, distribute malware or spam, engage in phishing, attempt unauthorized access to our systems, abuse rate limits, disrupt the Service, or submit highly sensitive regulated data such as protected health information unless explicitly supported by a separate agreement.
8. Subscriptions, Renewals, and Cancellation
Individual paid plans are purchased through Apple In-App Purchase at the price shown in the Knactics app. Monthly subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Founder Lifetime is a one-time, non-consumable purchase limited to the first 500 purchasers. Apple charges your Apple Account and manages payment methods, invoices, renewals, and cancellations. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. Access purchased through Apple is available when you sign in to the same Knactics account on supported devices.
9. Billing, Fulfillment, and Refunds
Apple processes individual subscription payments and provides the applicable purchase receipt. After Apple verifies a purchase, access to the subscription tier is normally provisioned immediately or shortly thereafter. Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not itself refund a completed billing period. Refund eligibility and refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and applicable law. Organization or enterprise access may be governed by a separate written agreement.
10. Suspension and Termination
Knactics may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for security risks, non-payment, abuse, legal compliance, or any material violation of these Terms.
11. Disclaimers and Warranties
The Service and all outputs are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Knactics expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, and non-infringement. Knactics does not warrant that outputs are accurate, complete, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose. Outputs may contain content inconsistent with Knactics' views.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Knactics shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, nor for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service or any outputs, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
